Happy Holidays!

This will be a huge photo update. :) Brace yourselves!
I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas and holiday season. Thank you to all the grandparents for making Autumn's very first Christmas so special (and delicious!) !!
We have been celebrating all over Canada with our loved ones and finally got home last night after a 21 hour standby travel debacle. Working for an airline has amazing perks, but traveling at Christmas time is a nightmare, end of story. Thankfully, Squish is a super hero baby and didn't complain at all. She napped at her usual times on planes and in airports and didn't fuss at all in flight. She tried a few times to climb over the seat to get at the baby behind us---so cute!---but didn't whine and was happy enough to sit on my lap and play with  the junk in the seat back pocket. haha! Thank goodness for her, cause there were a few little moments where I thought I was going to lose my lid but we made it though.
Squish had a really good first Christmas. She is one spoiled little baby and I say she deserves to be ;) Teddy and I brought home over 100lbs of gifts...We are also spoiled ;) We had really good visits with our families and are looking forward to another awesome year. 2011 has brought a lot of changes and so much to be grateful for. A preemie turned big fat piggy, healthy mama and daddy, healthy and happy great-grandparents and grandparents for Autumn, fun times with Autumn's stellar crew of aunties (and super cool uncles too!), connections with amazing pals and lots of good times all around. Sappy sap sap...Anyway, thank you to everyone who helped to make this year so special for us. We love you. Here's hoping 2012 is just as awesome (though it will be pretty tough to match this past year!) and we wish you love and all the best for whatever this next year throws your way. Cheers!
Here are some photos of Christmas number 1 in Victoria with Grandpa and Grandma Kellogg:

Things are a-changin!

It was a busy and very fun weekend and our last week before our holiday begins is off to a busy start as well! The universe has totally been in my corner lately and a sweet little dude has come into my life needing a nanny. It's really perfect. Nannying started today and it went extremely well--Our new little pal is super easy-going and sweet and got along really well with baby squirrel. He's 13 months and walking so it was a big night last night as I bolted things down and moved all hazards to high places...It won't be long before our little woman is on the move, so it's a good thing that is all taken care of now and our place is ready for toddlers. Teddy seems pretty stoked that Autumn will have an older baby to teach her a few things. It's amazing what little sponges they are. After about ten minutes together this morning, Autumn was copying her little buddy's grunts. TOO FUNNY!

We checked out the One Of A Kind Show at the Vancouver Convention Centre on Saturday---What a treat! After doing a few craft markets this season, I really have a new respect for the vendors at these huge shows. It's so much work preparing for these things! Kudos to those brave artists who participated in ooak. Our pal, Jessica of Nature's My Friend had a gorgeous little booth set up at the show with all of her beautiful prints, pins, magnets, stationary and other such goodies. You should have a peek at her etsy page and do a little Christmas shopping. CLICK ME! Show her some love.

What else is new....Well, Squish wants to be mobile--there is no doubt about that. Teddy and I wonder if she will ever crawl though. She is completely disinterested in being on her tummy and simply rolls onto her back to play with her feet when we attempt tummy time. She constantly wants to stand and practice taking steps, so I wonder if she will just go straight to walking...Scary thought. It's what I'm I did and I suppose these things could be hereditary, no? We shall see...
Here is our girl...Standing. Oh my...

Happy days!!!
Love to you all. xo

Santa Claus Parade

Today was an unusually beautiful day in Vancouver--A perfect day for a parade. Squish and I met Karina and Ryker downtown in the madness to watch the Santa Claus parade...The babies seemed entertained by all the noise and action and I always love a good visit with Karina. All in all, a good day.
Happy Squish waiting for Santa
